Plain-English ground rules for using Morsify. Short, specific, and written by us, not by a form.
Using the translator and tools
The morse code translator, audio playback, jewelry mockups, tattoo designer, printable charts, and every other tool on morsify.co are free for you to use. That includes personal use (writing a proposal, teaching your kid morse) and commercial use (designing a pendant for a customer, printing a classroom chart). You don't need to credit us to use the output, though we always appreciate it.
Our written content
The articles, explanatory copy, FAQs, and custom illustrations on the Site are © The Morsify Team unless stated otherwise. You can quote short passages with attribution and a link back. Wholesale reproduction or republishing the content on another site — even with changes — isn't permitted without written permission.
The underlying morse code (dots, dashes, the ITU table itself) is not copyrightable and is in the public domain. Use it however you like.
Affiliate disclosure
Some outbound links — to jewelry sellers, print-on-demand services, or recommended gear — are affiliate links. When you buy through them we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend what we would ourselves buy, or have already bought. If a recommendation is purely affiliate-motivated, we don't ship it.
Accounts, posts, and future features
Right now there is no login. Whatever you type goes no further than your browser. If we add accounts later — for the trainer premium tier or for user-submitted phrases — your contributions remain yours. We'd ask for a non-exclusive licence to display what you post, nothing more.
No warranty
The Site is provided as is. We do our best to keep the translator accurate, the audio correct, and the site online — but we don't guarantee zero downtime or zero bugs. If you are signaling a real emergency, use a radio, a phone, or a coast guard — not a browser tab.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Morsify Team is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of US$50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
Laws, tools, and best practices evolve. If we update these terms in a way that materially affects you, we update the dated notice at the top of this page.
